Most of the time, you don't need to do anything—apps that you download from the App Store automatically update by default.
Sometimes it takes up to 24 hours for an app to update automatically.
To bypass this, just search for the AlterMe App in the App Store and tap Update there.
To do a manual update:
Open the App Store.
Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
Scroll down to Upcoming Automatic Updates (or Available Updates).
Tap Update next to AlterMe, or tap Update All.
For Apple's full walkthrough, see Manually update apps on your iPhone or iPad.
How do I turn on automatic updates?
Go to Settings → Apps → App Store, then turn on App Updates under Automatic Downloads. If you want updates to run on cellular too (not just Wi-Fi), toggle on Automatic Downloads under Cellular Data as well.
Why isn't AlterMe updating?
A few common causes:
You're already on the latest version—if no update appears, you're good.
iOS is waiting for the right moment—even with automatic updates on, iOS often waits until your device is charging, idle, and on Wi-Fi. Check back in a couple hours!
Your iOS version is too old—some updates require a newer iOS release. Check Settings → General → Software Update.
Staged rollout — some updates are released gradually and may take a few days to reach your device.
