In the AlterMe App, tap the Screen icon and select Activate New Screen.
Outcome: App begins setup flow.
Power on your AlterMe Screen:
Flip the master switch (back panel).
Press the power button on the side.
Grant the Screen permissions: Location, Local Network, Bluetooth.
Ensure your phone and Screen are on the same Wi-Fi network.
Follow QR code scanning instructions:
Tips: Use a well-lit room, avoid glare, reduce phone screen brightness to 25%.
Tap Get QR Code, scan via the Screen's camera until the frame turns green.
Wait 2–5 minutes for connection. Keep the AlterMe App open.
Update firmware when prompted:
Initial firmware update: ~10 minutes.
Final version update: ~2–3 minutes.
