To pair your ring:
Connect your ring charging case to a power source using the USB-C cable.
Charge for 30 minutes. You’ll see a green light inside the ring in the case and a blue light on the case. A low battery can prevent pairing—don't skip this step!
Ensure your phone’s Bluetooth is ON.
Open the AlterMe app and log in.
If this is your first login, you’ll be prompted to pair during onboarding.
If you logged in before receiving your ring, tap “Start setup” on the Today tab and follow the steps, or tap the ring icon in the upper right.
Note: Keep the ring within 1–2 ft of your phone, IN the charger, and pair in the app—not from your phone’s Bluetooth menu.
If you're having issues pairing your ring:
Try these troubleshooting steps first:
Ensure you're on the latest app release, and your phone's OS is updated
Make sure your ring charging case is plugged in, and you see the green sensor light flashing inside the ring—this ensures your ring is able to be found by your phone's Bluetooth.
Keep your ring plugged in, near your phone.
Occasionally, low phone battery or WiFi can interfere with Bluetooth connections. Try charging your phone and turning off your phone's WiFI temporarily.
Check your AlterMe Permissions, found in your phone's settings menu. You must give AlterMe access to Bluetooth, and ensure your phone's Bluetooth is turned on.
