I'm having issues pairing my ring. What should I do?

Please try the following steps:

  • Ensure your ring is in the charger, and plugged into an outlet. You should see a flashing green light inside the ring, and a blue light on the outside of the box.

    • If you do not see any lights (on the box or on the ring) reach out to Member Success.

    • Try another outlet, or another device, to make sure your charging cable or outlet aren't faulty.

  • Ensure you're on your phone's latest operating system & AlterMe App version.

  • Turn your Bluetooth off, wait 5 seconds, and then turn it back on.

  • Turn your phone off, wait 5 seconds, and then turn it back on.

Android Specific Pairing Issues

If you're using an Android, we've noticed an issue with Android 16 OS & Bluetooth connectivity.

if the above steps aren't resolving your issue, try going to Settings → System → Reset Options → Reset Bluetooth & WiFi.

Then, turn your phone on & off, and try pairing your AlterMe Ring.

This will disconnect you from saved Wifi networks and Bluetooth devices, so please keep that in mind.
