Your ring can last up to 7 days. Under normal usage conditions, the AlterMe ring typically lasts 5 days on a full charge. However, some users may experience slightly shorter durations depending on their usage patterns. If your ring cannot hold a charge for a full day, it may indicate a hardware or battery issue that requires further diagnosis or replacement.
Charge Daily or Every Other Day: While the ring can last several days, it is recommended to charge it daily or every other day to keep the battery level at 40% or higher. Charge for about 20minues everyday.
Avoid Deep Discharges: Keeping the battery topped up prevents deep discharges, which can negatively impact battery longevity.
If your AlterMe ring’s battery drains faster than expected, try the following steps:
Power Cycle the Ring:
Open the AlterMe app and tap the ring icon in the top-right corner.
Select “Power Cycle” and complete the process.
This can refresh the connection and resolve minor issues.
Check Charging Contacts:
Ensure the green light on the charging case and the ring’s seating area is visible, indicating proper contact.
Monitor Battery Performance:
Fully charge the ring to 100% and observe the daily battery drop. A small drop over several hours is normal.If your ring is only lasting a day or less, not holding a charge, or draining much faster than expected, this may indicate a hardware issue.
