AlterMe looks at how much of your daily movement comes from structured workouts (AlterMe sessions or other tracked training) versus everyday activity like walking, errands, or being on your feet.
If you’re less active, more of your daily movement goal comes from steps.
If you work out regularly, your step goal is lower because more of your movement comes from workouts.
This ensures your step goal feels realistic, supportive, and aligned with how you actually move.
What happens if my activity level changes over time?
Your goals and recommendations evolve as you do.
As your habits change, AlterMe adapts your daily targets to stay aligned with your current activity level. If you become more active or shift your training focus, you can also update your preferences anytime in the My Goals section of your profile to keep your recommendations in sync.
