Once you send your swab back it goes through a three step process: lab analysis, trait mapping, and sample destructions.
Before the lab analysis begins, it is important to mail back your swab kit as instructed in the kit materials. This step ensures that the lab can start processing your sample efficiently.
Lab Analysis: Your swab goes to a certified lab where your DNA is analyzed for ~60 key genetic markers.
Trait Mapping: The lab identifies traits related to fitness, nutrition, stress, fat loss, and more using evidence-based genotyping.
DNA Destroyed: Your physical swab is destroyed immediately after processing. Extracted DNA is stored for one year for retesting purposes.
Results Notification: Once the lab has completed processing your sample, you will receive a notification, such as a text message, informing you that your results are ready.
